PARTY!

And so it begins–the countdown to our launch party for BIRD! I’ve got a zillion things to do today, but I’m also excited b/c my friend is on her way to NYC from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I missed the debate last night b/c I was in transit from Massachusetts (where I teach) but I’m very glad the election is also drawing near…I don’t do well with limbo, that in-between stage of anticipation and preparation. I’d rather the event just happened already! But I guess we have to believe that all this mudslinging and hostility and conflict actually prepares our future president for what’s to come…

I hope to see lots of friendly faces on Saturday! Even if you didn’t get an official invite, feel free to swing by Brownstone Books between 5 & 7pm–all are welcome!
