Thanks for the link, it was a wonderful talk! I can think of (at this very moment) two editors that I know are PoC for children's books. So even though Cheryl Hudson came up with 26, I can only think of 2. *sigh*

Yesterday I went to the Black Women's Expo and I attended a talk about how to get your book published. Kimberla Lawson Roby and Francis Roy were there and they answered questions. Based on questions asked, I really realized that we DON'T KNOW ANYTHING (or very little) about publishing. It's so frustrating, we need more panels and workshops with insiders in the industry to explain to those who want to get published or work in the industry how to do so.

*ends rant* Anyway, hope you had a good weekend!

Thanks for tuning in, Ari! I'd like to build on your point and add that these info sessions should be FREE. I get tired of the cash cow system whereby aspiring authors are asked to pay for seminars and programs and *access to editors* at various conferences...I wonder if Nathalie's webinar (write on con) is a possibility, though you'd still have to have access to a computer...
