   I'm so so sorry Zetta. Thank you for speaking out and urging men to take care of themselves. I don't even know if my father gets tested for prostate cancer although I think he just reached 45 (my parents are a bit secretive about their age! haha).

   you were absolutely adorable as baby, I love these pictures :)

   thanks, ladies--I was quite the butterball, but a very happy baby, too! I think it was really hard for my father to shift from seeing me as that baby to seeing me as a grown woman with her own set of demands...but I do think every child has the right to expect her parents to take care of themselves--b/c if they DON'T, the consequences can be devastating for everyone involved...black men need to get tested earlier than others, so start pestering him, Miss A!
