last week of haiku

We’re nearing the end of April and National Poetry Month.  It has been fun writing haiku every day, but I find that I get to the end of the day and gasp–I haven’t written a haiku yet!  I don’t have the stamina to keep going much longer, but will try to write some good ones for this final week…

Sunday spent indoors;

perverse pleasure comes from NOT

following the crowd

harder to finish

than to begin; eagerness

dissipates with time
